1999 Bentley Continental SC

1999 Bentley Continental SCThe Bentley Continental R, introduced in 1991, was reportedly one of the cars that saved Rolls-Royce.

An ultra-exclusive car, the most expensive then for sale, this car was a worthy successor to the Continental name and, with its R designation, it harks back to the illustrious R-Type Continental introduced in 1953, as well as taking on the mantle of the then contemporary Turbo R, a car which also gingered up the marque.

Bentley Continental SC interiorThe SC - or "Sedanca Coupé" - derives from the R as a sportier two-plus-two model.  Very rare (only 73 were built), the SC is likely to become as collectable as the original R-Type Continental.

This particular car has a removable glass roof and a full service history, and is priced at £140,000.
